Current Wave Recording System
|The Current Wave Recording System stores the thunder surge current wave.
The current wave is transmitted via optical fiber and the analog signal
is converted to digital for recording. System consists of current sensor,
optical transmitting device, trigger, large memory storage, GPS clock,
and personal computer.|
Each components' specification is described in each brochure accordingly.
|1) Complete isolation between measuring points and components.
Optical fibers give complete electrical isolation between the measuring points and components. An immense benefit, as all components are free from high voltage from thunder surges.
|2) Lower batteries.
We developed EO converter especially for analog transmitting.
Therefore it only requires 20mA.
Only one component requires electrical supply, thus the required consumption power level is 60% lower than other EO converters.
