EO/OE Converter (low power ver.)

This system is developed for the observations of waveforms created by lightning discharge which require optical isolation from analog signal. This unit is identical to PH399023 except for the frequency specifications and power consumption.
In the same vein as PH399023, this converter divides positive(+) and negative(-) signals into a separated light emitting devices so that long-term battery-powered observations can be performed. The quiescent current consumption can be as low as 15mA.
Optical output is constantly adjusted according to the input signal thus, EO converter specs. are independent from the temperature fluctuations.
OE unit internal power consumption is DC+/-5V/200mW at no signals.
Two optical fibers (200um core) are used conjointly.
